THE Philippines reported 5,828 new cases of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) on Thursday, pushing the overall total to 1.53 million.
The new cases stemmed from 47,869 samples that were tested on Tuesday, 12 percent or 5,744 of which returned positive. Five laboratories did not submit their data to the DoH.
