THE Philippine Constitution must be followed for exploring oil and gas resources in the West Philippine Sea with China, a Department of Energy official said on Thursday.
In the pre-State of the Nation Address (SONA) Virtual Presser with the Climate Change Adaptation Mitigation and Disaster Risk Reduction Cluster, Energy Undersecretary Felix William Fuentebella said the exploration deal between both countries can move forward as long as it is bound by the 1987 Philippine Constitution.
