Filipino-American swimmer Remedy Rule failed to advance in the semifinals of the women's 100-meter butterfly event at the Tokyo Olympics Saturday evening at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre.
Rule finished the 100-meter event with a clocking of 59.68 seconds, good for second place in heat 2. However, after the five-heat, 33-swimmer competition came to a close, Rule's time was only good for the 25th spot.
