Zero casualties, damage despite 6.6 magnitude quake in Batangas

THERE have been no reports of damage to property or casualties after a 6.6 magnitude earthquake jolted Batangas town early Saturday, the Batangas Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (BPDRRMO).

"Wala pang report of untoward incident. Sa ngayon tuloy tuloy pa ang assessment. So walang report of any casualties, walang report of any damages. So wala kaming response (No report of untoward incident yet. For now, the assessment will continue. So no report of any casualties, no report of any damages. So we had no response)." Said Lito Castro, Chief, BPDRRMO, in a phone interview.
