President Rodrigo Duterte's sixth and final State of the Nation Address (SONA) will be "simple, modest yet impactful" as the country continues to reel from a pandemic due to the persistent coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

People's Television Manager Katherine de Castro, who serves as the Presidential Communications Operations Office's SONA committee chair, said while the narrative theme of this year's SONA will focus on what could be considered the Duterte administration's "heirloom legacies," its inspiration in terms of form "will be Mindanaoan."
