THOUSANDS of Filipinos remain affected by the continuous rains brought by the habagat (southwest monsoon) and enhanced by Typhoon "Fabian" (international name: "In-Fa"), according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
In its situational report on Monday, the NDRRMC said a total of 202,213 individuals or 50,676 families have been affected by the inclement weather while 38,472 persons have been displaced and were currently staying in evacuation centers.
