THE Philippines has extended the travel ban for travelers from India and nine other countries until August 15 to prevent the spread of the Delta coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) variant, Malacañang announced on Friday.
Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said the extended travel ban covers India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Oman, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
