PHNOM PENH: Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen said on Wednesday evening that 7 million people in the country had received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far.
Elderly woman Chan Khim, living in northwestern Siem Reap province, was the 7 millionth person to be vaccinated, he said, adding he gifted her 10 million riels ($2,500) and some relief items for being the special recipient.
