The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said the country's money supply grew quicker in June despite the fact that bank lending continued to shrink throughout the month.

Domestic liquidity (M3) expanded by 6.4 percent year-on-year to P14.4 trillion in June, the central bank said in a statement on Friday, outpacing the 4.7-percent gain in May. M3 also increased by 1 percent month-on-month and seasonally adjusted.
