Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship Jose Maria "Joey" Concepcion 3rd supports the decision of the government to enforce a two-week lockdown in Metro Manila, saying it is the key to containing the spread of the more transmissible Delta variant of Covid-19.
"I am glad that the DoH (Department of Health) has supported this. I am also happy that Secretary Francisco Duque 3rd and the members of the IATF-EID (Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases) have made the right decision, also supporting the Metro Manila mayors' proposal," Concepcion said in a statement.
