BAGUIO CITY: Local health authorities are alarmed over the 300 percent increase in dengue fever cases in the first six and a half months of this year in the Summer Capital aggravated by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr. Donabel Tubera-Panes, medical officer 4 and head of the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit of the City Health Services office, on Friday, disclosed a total of 416 dengue fever cases were reported in the city from January 1 to July 17 this year.
