Every year, the country celebrates the birth of the national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, by remembering his life and works. As much as he spent his life dabbling in different fields and practices such as the sciences, visual arts, journalism, and sports, it was his creative and literary works that truly ignited and connected the force with his countrymen and changed the course of Philippine history.

And as the nation remembers Rizal on his 160th birth anniversary, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Sentro Rizal is launching "Rizal @ 160 Tularawan" - a digital art contest for Overseas Filipino youth that will draw inspiration from Rizal's poems.
