Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) is a rigid pressure piping system known for its high impact strength and durability. Its exceptional toughness is resistant to a wide range of abrasive slurries, which can damage steel or other pipe materials. It is the most appropriate piping material for waste water application.

ABS material is also deemed the most economical product to use in waste water management, compared with stainless, galvanized and block iron materials. It is much more superior than any other thermoplastic products such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polybutylene (PB) and polyvinylidene flouride (PVDF).
