The Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) on Tuesday gave assurances that it would suspend disconnection activities in areas under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) and modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ).
The power distributor said it would defer disconnection activities in Laguna beginning August 1 to 15 and in the National Capital Region (NCR/Metro Manila) from August 6 to 20.
