Pacquiao asks PNP to probe socmed trolls

SENATOR Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao is seeking the help of the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACCG) to identify the owners of social media trolls behind the "fake news" linking him in an allegedly anomalous multi-billion sports complex project in Sarangani.

Pacquiao, who is currently in the United States for his upcoming fight with welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr., said he is determined to hold the socmed trolls accountable for spreading lies about him hoping that this would empower more Filipinos to rise up against the irresponsible and reckless use of the social media.
