The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) aims to finish the rehabilitation of Marawi Transcentral Road Phase 1 in Marawi City, Lanao Del Sur by the end of August and has started the Marawi Transcentral Road Project Phase 3.
In a statement, DPWH Secretary Mark Villar said under a grant aid program of the Japanese government, the 18.97-kilometer (km) Marawi Transcentral Road Phase 1 "has provided better access to basic services, increased trade and contributed to the progressing economic activities" in the area.
