LINGAYEN, Pangasinan: The provincial government of Pangasinan is eyeing a $1-billion undertaking - Pangasinan Fish Farming (PFF) project - which will be established and operated by the Global Trade Venture Co., a multi-billion corporation and business firm based in Japan, and aimed at increasing fish production and creating more jobs and livelihood for the people of the province.

This was revealed to The Manila Times by Pangasinan Gov. Amado Espino 3rd, saying local fisherfolk will soon become fish suppliers to the Japanese government-owned corporation Tokushima Auction Market (TAM) once negotiations materialize before the end of this year or next year.
