THE Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) recently promulgated rules governing the Green Energy Option Program (GEOP), a mechanism allowing electricity end-users to choose renewable energy (RE) as their source of energy.
In a statement, the ERC said the GEOP regulatory framework sets the technical and interconnection standards and wheeling fees of RE generating facilities.
