As I immerse myself even more in the job of Secretary and Chair of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas, I find myself closer to the hearts of our kababayans who make personal sacrifices when they leave the country in search of a better future for their respective families.
After they have earned enough, these unsung heroes come home and retire from their overseas jobs, letting their hard-earned money grow through profitable investments, as they enjoy being truly "home" with their loved ones.
