BACOLOD CITY: The United Negros Alliance (Unega),a Negros-based political party, has committed to ensure safe, peaceful and meaningful elections in the towns of Toboso and Isabela, Negros Occidental, where its members and those of its rival party, Love Negros, were expected to clash for various positions in next year's polls.
The political wars in Toboso and Isabela will happen despite an alliance between the two political groups, Unega Secretary General Salvador Escalante Jr. said over the weekend.
