ON its 26th year, the National Book Development Board (NBDB) goes full throttle with their projects, focusing on Filipino creatives, and serving as a hub for local publishers.

"Capacitating Filipino creatives is a top priority for us," says Executive Director Charisse Aquino-Tugade of the NBDB. "We have an amazing pool of creative talent, and excellent writers in the Philippines. Often, they are just unsure how they would navigate the world of publishing, and even what goes beyond that. We can definitely be of help to them on that matter."
