RAMON, Isabela: Magat dam officials here have assured the 39-year-old reservoir is "100-percent" safe, debunking fears of a dam break by some leaders and villagers.
Carlo Ablan, National Irrigation Administration-Magat River Integrated Irrigation System (NIA-MRIIS) division manager, said in a September 7 virtual news briefing the dam has been built to last for 100 years or more.
