PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has signed into law a bill modernizing the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), which would allow the country's firefighters to carry guns.
Republic Act (RA) 11589 or the "BFP Modernization Act" was signed by the President on Friday in a Palace gathering attended by some members of Congress.
