WITH the majority of the workforce in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry in the Philippines shifting to work-from-home arrangements, related changes and adjustments can be difficult for one's mental health.

The Information Technology (IT) BPO companies, as well as the national government, should prioritize mental health programs in its overall response to the Covid-19 pandemic, said Ronell "Ellah" Delerio, senior officer of the Department of Labor and Employment's (DoLEs) Institute for Labor Studies during The Manila Times online forum on "Resiliency and adaptability at all times of the BPO industry - bedrock of Philippine employment through the years" on Friday.
