Industries adversely affected by the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic, among them, the nation's shipbuilding and ship repair (SBSR) sector, will receive a new package of incentives to help them get back on their feet again.
Despite their continuing vast potentials, the 118 players in the SBSR sector have experienced since last year delayed deliveries of their raw materials, reduced workforce due to lockdowns, and escalating operational expenses due to observance of additional health and safety protocols.
