The Alliance of Health Workers (AHW) urged the government to reduce infrastructure spending and instead boost the health care budget for 2022 as the country continues to grapple with the Covid-19 pandemic.
The group also recommended the hiring of 14,000 permanent health care workers in public hospitals and the prioritization of the government's Covid-19 response.
