THE Philippines logged 21,261 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on Thursday, pushing the total number of infections in the country at 2.304 million, according to the Department of Health (DoH).
This comes as the country entered the first day of its new strategy to combat the virus by enforcing granular lockdowns and alert levels.
