Voyager Innovations (Voyager), through its financial technology arm PayMaya Philippines (PayMaya), has obtained the approval of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) to establish a digital bank.
PayMaya said the digital bank, which will be known as Maya Bank, will focus on the largely unbanked and underserved population of consumers and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
