Labor chief bares Tupad irregularities

LABOR Secretary Silvestre Bello 3rd on Monday revealed a number of irregularities that attended the implementation of the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (Tupad) program.

These include reducing the wages of beneficiaries, misrepresentation in the identity of the beneficiaries, collection of unauthorized fees, presence of ghost beneficiaries, non-implementation of the project and other violations or deviations.
