A FORMER mayoral candidate and doctor in Pilar, Abra was shot dead inside her own residence over the weekend and the Philippine National Police (PNP) chief ordered a thorough investigation into the incident.
The victim was identified as Amor Trina Dait, a resident doctor of La Paz District Hospital. Dait also ran for the mayoral post of Pilar town during the 2019 local elections.
