RESEARCHERS from the Department of Science and Technology-Industrial Technology Development Institute (DoST-ITDI) are turning industrial wastes into food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products through its newly minted facility.

Dubbed as the Multi-industry Manufacturing Innovation Center, the facility makes use of raw materials that are byproducts of commercial operations that could generate new innovative products on food ingredients, beauty nutritional supplements as well as the development of improved efficient processes.
