INTEREST toward electric vehicles (EV) in the Philippines has increased, according to the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP).
Speaking during the 9th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS) on Thursday, EVAP President Edmund Araga said the association began with a "small pool" of local vehicle parts manufacturers looking to push for a local EV industry years ago.
