A product of a simple and happy childhood, Jocelyn Radoc was inspired by the love and support she experienced to spread joy to others, especially those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Recalling that idyll, she says: "I grew up in Pasay City with my parents, Romeo and Lilian, and three older sisters, Liza, Marie and Cherry. I am the youngest, 'the baby' in the family.
"Our home was filled with so much love, care, surprises, laughter, music and books. They called me 'Joy' since they said I brought so much happiness in their lives." She also goes by another nickname: "Jookie."
