TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite: Local bets here have announced that they will file their candidacy on the first day of filing of certificate of candidacy (CoC) for governor, vice governor, congressman, mayor, vice mayor and councilor in the province of Cavite today, Oct. 1, 2021.
Some of those who had announced their candidacy were incumbent Gov. Juanito Victor "Jonvic" Remulla Jr., who is seeking his second term as provincial chief executive, together with running mate Tagaytay City Councilor Althea Tolentino for vice governor, reelectionist Tanza Mayor Yuri Pacumio together with vice-mayoral bet Simon Matro, second term-seeking Alfonso Mayor Randy Salamat, third-term seeking Indang Mayor Perfecto Fidel, reelectionist Rosario town Mayor Voltaire Ricafrente and Rosario town mayoral aspirant and incumbent Vice Mayor Mao Luna.
