Rozz Daniels had been singing since she was 6 years and she was 8 when her dad discovered she can belt out like a rock star. To develop her singing voice, she sang almost every day. She joined a choir in the Philippines and in Winconsin where she is now based.

She joined a few singing contests in the Visayan province when she was still a teenager. Her goal was to win even second or third prize so she can have money to buy rice and canned goods for her mom. In 1996, she joined a singing contest in Hawaii where she won first place and $200 prize money. In 2010, she joined a "RockStar" competition Wisconsin where she won first place in the grand finals. The following year, she sang the National Anthem at the open ceremony for the 2011 RockStar competition.
