TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite: Incumbent Cavite Gov. Juanito Victor "Jonvic" Remulla Jr. was the first to file for certificate of candidacy (CoC) on Friday at the Provincial Comelec Office in Barangay San Agustin, Trece Martires City.

Remulla, who is running under the National Unity Party (NUP) and local Partido Magdalo, was joined by his running mate and vice gubernatorial aspirant, Tagaytay Councilor Athena Tolentino.
