AC Energy Corp. said on Wednesday its 150-megawatt (MW) diesel power plant in Pililla, Rizal has commenced commercial operations.
AC Energy, in a disclosure, said the P1.9-billion quick response diesel power plant will "help remediate the spate of power supply disruptions and augment the energy supply amidst the Malampaya shutdown by starting to supply essential peaking and reserve power."
