At last, the long-awaited announcement of Vice President Maria Leonor "Leni" Robredo happened. She certainly needs a heads up about her starting point in terms of her presidential run. Since Pulse Asia's presidential survey reported last September 29 is yet the most reliable basis for any analysis, I am using that pollster's first and second choices to see the numbers that will greet her and more importantly, the numbers that she has yet to unite during the campaign itself in order to win.

For your reference, the said Pulse survey originally had 13 listed candidates as follows: Sara Duterte-Carpio, Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. (BBM), Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso, Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao, Mary Grace Poe, Robredo, Panfilo "Ping" Lacson, Alan Peter Cayetano, Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go, Antonio "Sonny" Trillanes 4th, Walden Bello and Gilbert "Gibo" Teodoro Jr. This order of names goes according to rank from highest to lowest. I initially only included four who have declared their intention to seek the presidency from the top seven ranked in this list.
