LEGAZPI CITY: Few weeks before the All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day commemoration, Bishop Joel Baylon of the Diocese of Legazpi ordered the closure of the cemeteries across Albay province beginning October 30 to November 3 to curb the spread of Covid-19 across the province.
In a diocesan circular No. 24, the prelate said that all catholic cemeteries in the Diocese from October 30 until November 3, 2021 will be closed and only burial rites are allowed during this period.
