IN line with the celebration of World Space Week, Maya-3 and Maya-4, the first cube satellites developed by Philippine universities, were deployed into orbit on October 6 from the International Space Station (ISS).

The two satellites, each weighing 1.15 kilograms, will collect images and information scientists and government agencies on Earth can use to address various concerns.
