INSPIRED by the memorable and inspiring gold medal performance of our hero Hidilyn Diaz in the last Tokyo Olympics, this week saw another two very young Pinay weightlifters capture two golds, a silver, and bronze medals in the World Junior International Weightlifting Federation championship in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Jeaneth Hipolito and Rose Jean Ramos made the country proud again. Future of our sport looks bright as these determined girls aren't even on our list yet for the forthcoming World Championship in Uzbekistan come December 7.
