The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) shortened curfew hours in the metropolis — from 12 midnight to 4 a.m. beginning today, October 13, according to the Metro Manila Council (MMC).

"Iyan po ang ating unified curfew para naman po makahinga ng konting ang ating ekonomiya (Let's adjust for two hours. It's 12 midnight until 4 a.m. That is our unified curfew so that our economy can breathe a little)," MMC Chairman and Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez said in an interview over DZMM Teleradyo.
