NINETY-SIX percent of the national budget for 2021 has already been released to government agencies, according to the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
The government's allotment release for the first nine months of this year totalled P4.34 trillion, representing for 96.5 percent of the P4.50-trillion budget, DBM data showed. The present value exceeds the P4.07 trillion released between January and September 2020.
