VACCINE czar Carlito Galvez Jr. said on Saturday that 1,151minors with comorbidities, aged 15 to 17, were inoculated against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in a pilot drive conducted in eight Metro Manila hospitals.

Galvez, with Health Secretary Francisco Duque 3rd and Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian opened the vaccination on Friday at the National Children's Hospital with simultaneous launches conducted at the Philippine Children's Medical Center, Fe Del Mundo Medical Center, Philippine Heart Center, Pasig City Children's Hospital, Philippine General Hospital, St. Luke's Medical Center BGC, and Makati Medical Center.
