DESPITE the planned Pasig River Expressway (Parex) having a price tag of at least P95 billion and being a major invasive development across five different cities, it was fobbed off on the public after a review process by the government that was only slightly more rigorous than deciding what to have for lunch. If it is not stopped, Metro Manila will suffer the consequences of San Miguel Corp. (SMC)'s rapine contempt for public welfare and the corrupt incompetence of the Duterte government for decades to come.
