DIGITAL transformation can unlock up to P5-trillion worth of economic value in the Philippines by 2030, a report released by Google and AlphaBeta said.

"We looked at a range of different technologies that are critical to digital transformation like cloud computing, big data, AI (artificial intelligence), Internet of Things, additive manufacturing, advanced robotics and fintech. And what we did is we understood exactly how these could be applied in different sectors," said Fraser Thompson, AlphaBeta founder and managing director, during the virtual launch of Google's Economic Impact Report in the Philippines on Tuesday.
