Over the weekend, Kamuning Bakery's present-day keeper and well-liked media personality Wilson Flores — who is riveted by showbiz as much as politics — didn't forget to invite The T-Zone to celebrate the second World Pandesal Day under pandemic along with other friends in the beat.

Held virtually once more, it was just like all of Wilson's past events: well-attended by top government officials, political personalities and mainstream journalists who engaged in a casual back and forth, with no topic off the table. The only difference this year and the last was we couldn't do it over baskets of freshly baked pugon pandesal and endless pots of coffee.
