2 Sayyaf terrorists surrender to MILF

ZAMBOANGA CITY: Two members of the Abu Sayyaf Group surrendered to members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) who handed the former terrorists to security forces in the Muslim province of Basilan, officials said Monday.

Military officials said Jaid Balatong, 40, and Abdul Munib, 35, surrendered to the MILF's 114th Base Command under Dan Asnawi over the weekend. They also yielded an automatic rifle and a pistol.
