Farm machines worth over P400 million have been distributed to farmer cooperatives and associations (FCAs) in two Central Luzon provinces under a government initiative to boost rice productivity.
The Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech) said 246 FCAs in Nueva Ecija and Bulacan received tractors, harvesters and other equipment under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF)-Mechanization Program.
