Today, World Values Day, "let us use our values to reconnect with one another and with what matters most in our lives."

TODAY, October 21, we celebrate World Values Day. This is "an annual campaign to increase the awareness and practice of values around the world. Values are what matter most to us. They are our motivators, the passion in our hearts, and the reason we do the things we do." The vision for World Values Day is to put values at the heart of society around the world. (https://www.awareness days.com/awareness-days-calendar/world-values-day-2021/) Reconnecting is this year's theme. The call is a deepened awareness of the "enormous uncertainty and disruption," brought about by Covid-19. Thus, in celebrating World Values Day, we are urged "to deepen our understanding of values and how they connect us with our sense of self, with others, and with the wider world. So, this World Values Day let's use our values to reconnect with one another and with what matters most in our lives." (https://www.worldvaluesday.com/)
